Google Maps results without building a scraper
Local data is hard to collect: Maps pages are built for people, not programs. The Maps endpoint returns each place with its name, place ID, and a public Google Maps link, plus address, phone, website, category, rating, review count, coordinates, opening hours, and price range when Google Maps shows them. Fields that are not available are simply omitted, so you never parse placeholder values.
Structured Place Data
Each place comes with its name, place ID and Maps link, plus address, phone, website, category, rating, review count, coordinates and opening hours when available.
Search Around a Point
Pass latitude, longitude and zoom to search around a location, and set the country and language for local results.
Up to 20 Places per Page
Each request returns one Google Maps page of up to 20 places, and you can page further with the same location.
Simple Per-Page Pricing
A completed page costs 3 credits, including a confirmed empty page. Failed requests are not charged.
What is a Maps API?
A Maps API turns a map search, such as "dentists near Union Square" or "ramen in Shibuya", into structured data your code can use. Instead of opening Google Maps and copying details by hand, you send the search phrase with an optional location and get back a list of places with their contact details, ratings, and coordinates. Search1API returns one Google Maps page per request, so you decide how many pages to fetch and what each one costs.
Maps API pricing
Each completed request fetches one Google Maps page of up to 20 places and costs 3 credits, including a page that is confirmed empty. Technical failures return an error and are not charged. max_results only trims the page you get back; it does not lower the price. New accounts start with 100 free credits.
3 credits per page of up to 20 places.
Failed requests are not charged.
Pages 1 to 6 per search; pages after the first need a location.
100 free credits on signup, no credit card.

FAQ
What data does the Maps API return?
Every place has a position, name, place ID, and public Google Maps link. When available, it also includes address, phone, website, thumbnail, category, rating, review count, coordinates, opening hours by weekday, current open state, price range, and a short description.
How many credits does the Maps API use?
Each completed page costs 3 credits and holds up to 20 places, including a page that is confirmed empty. Technical failures are not charged. Lowering max_results does not lower the price.
How do I search around a specific location?
Pass a location object with latitude, longitude, and an optional zoom (default 14). Without a location, Google Maps decides the area from your search phrase, so a query such as "pizza in Brooklyn" also works.
How do I get more than 20 places?
Request the next page with the same query, country, language, and location, and set page to 2 or higher (up to 6). Pages after the first require a location. Each page is billed separately.
How is the Maps API different from the Search API?
Search returns webpages. Maps returns places: businesses and points of interest with addresses, ratings, and coordinates. Use Crawl afterwards if you want to read a business website.
